HARMER PICKEN, Thelma (Toot) Aleta

1926 - 2022

Peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond, Quebec, surrounded by her family on Tuesday June 7, 2022 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Picken. Devoted mother of Linda Kay (Kelly) Ross, Barbara Ann Picken, Mary Lou (James) Kominek, Brenda Lee Picken (Gary Vanderveen), the late Susan Jane (the late Mario) Gubbels, and Robert (Karen Loffelman) Picken. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Malcolm (Sonny) and (the late sister-in-law Katherine) Harmer. Dear sister-in-law of the late Anna Ward, Hazel Fleck, Ruth Cormier, Jean French, Marian Wightman and Arnold (Mac) Picken. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rested at the Cass Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at St. George’s Church, Lennoxville, on Tuesday July 12, 2022 at 12:00 pm. The family will be at the church one hour before the service to receive family and friends. Reverend Canon Giuseppe Gagliano officiating, followed by the interment of ashes in Malvern Cemetery. 

You are invited to come back to St. George’s Church, Lennoxville where’s a luncheon will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wales Home Foundation and Phelps Help Aide would be appreciated by the family.
