With heavy hearts we announce the sudden, but peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother on January 16, 2022, in her 87th year.

Serena was the widow of Gilbert Wintle formerly of Gould, Qc. but residing in the town of Birchton for the past 29 years.

She leaves to mourn her nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many many friends and also her cherished students.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Serena’s memory, may be made to the Lingwick Protestant Cemetery, c/o Kylie Côté, 9 Robert-Peel St., Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 1W9 or to the Pope Memorial Elementary School,   523 Stokes St. Bury, QC, J0B 1J0 (indicating in memory of Serena Wintle on a card enclosed with your donation), would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Serena's Family & Close Friends

What a kind, thoughtful, generous person Serena was. She will be sadly and greatly missed by her family, her many friends and colleagues. Her passing leaves a huge hole in her community as she was so active in so many areas of life. My thoughts and prayers are with all those who are saddened by Serena's sudden departure from this Life. God bless.

Our sincere sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your Mom and Grandmother. Serena was a lovely lady and always kind and gracious.
