C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Suzanne Boucher (Labrie) à l’âge de 81 ans le 13 mars 2023, après une courageuse bataille contre le cancer. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux depuis 57 ans, John Boucher, sa fille Natalie (Craig Lindsay), son fils Christopher (Christine Gustin) et ses petits-enfants Taylor, William, Jaden et Darren.
Suzanne a grandi à Beebe, au Québec, fille de Laurette Labrie (Bergeron) et Eugene Labrie. Soeur bien-aimée de Pierrette Marsh (Michael), Marcelle Goudreau (Georges), Gerald, Michel, et Richard.
Suzanne a commencé sa carrière comme secrétaire chez Spencer et est ensuite devenue agente d’immigration à Douanes et Immigration Canada. Elle est restée occupée avec ses nombreuses passions créatives. Artisane talentueuse, elle laisse derrière elle une multitude de beaux objets faits à la main qui seront chéris par plusieurs. Elle était un membre actif du Cercle des Fermières et était toujours heureuse de partager ses compétences et ses connaissances avec les autres.
La famille tient à remercier tout le personnel de l’Unité de soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital de Magog. Leurs soins et leur soutien incroyables étaient plus que nous n’aurions jamais pu imaginer.
Si vous le désirez, des dons peuvent être faits en sa mémoire à l’Unité de soins palliatifs de l’Hôpital de Magog : L’Envolée au Centre de santé et de services sociaux de Memphrémagog, 50 Rue St-Patrice Est, Magog QC, J1X 3X3.
Une célébration de la vie de Suzanne aura lieu à une date ultérieure.

I am so saddened to hear of Suzanne's passing. I have such fond memories of our families being neighbours and the many acts of kindness that your family has always shown toward mine, especially my parents. Suzanne was a dear person through and through. She will be sadly missed by so many.
