CAIRNS SUITOR, Marjorie

1931 - 2021

Marjorie Avonna Suitor (Cairns) passed away peacefully at the Wales Home in Richmond on December 28th, 2021 at the age of 90, with the love of her family members by her side.

Marjorie was born on May 31st, 1931 to the late Mildred Cairns (Johnson) and the late Stewart Cairns. She was the beloved wife of the late William Suitor. The loving mother of Brian (Edyth Young), Barry (Suzanne Brown), David (Cindy Loomis), Stephen (Joy Soroka) and Wayne. Cherished Grandmother of Bridget (Freddy), Gina (Iraklis), Justin (Meaghan), Philip, Brittany (Hunter), Krystal (Travis), Melissa (Tyler), Jessica, Tabitha (Travis), Shawn (Nicole), Jade, Kayle (Alexa), Kayne (Kelly), Kayla, Bryson (Alexe), Ryder (Hannah). Along with 29 Great Grandchildren. Marjorie also leaves to mourn her brother and sister; Albert (Bev Heath), Roberta (the late Donald Little). Beloved sister in law to; Jean (the late Eugene Naylor), the late Phyllis (the late Stewart Deacon), the late Raymond (the late Pearl Allison), She will always be cherished by June Hodge, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. 

The family would like to Thank the Wales Home for their wonderful care that they provided for Marjorie during her stay. 

A graveside service will take place at the Malvern Cemetery, on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Rv. Mead Baldwin officiating, followed by a luncheon at the Ives Hill Community Hall.

Family members

I remember when they took over the Huntingville store from Marshal Lougheed, I'd go up to the meat counter in the back, hand Marjorie my little bit-o-change and she'd meticulously slice off that much bologna and wrap it up in the brown paper for me and I'd go sit out on the steps and eat it up! Just one of many fine memories when your parents ran that store!
