C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès subit de Linda Jones Stevens, survenu le 8 novembre 2023.
Épouse bien-aimée d'Alan Stevens, maman incroyable d'Angie (Carl), Tim (Becky), grand-mère aimante et fière de Bryanna (Sébastien), Nevada, Gage (Florence), Nova (Audrey), Lars et super G-maw d'Everly ❤️ . Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses frères Bob (Greta), Gordie, Tommy et sa sœur Wendy ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis.
La vie ne se mesure pas seulement en années, mais en nombre de vies que nous touchons. Linda a vraiment vécu pleinement sa vie. Tous les mots aimables et la nourriture qui nous ont soutenus cette semaine témoignent des nombreuses vies qu'elle a touchées.
Un service funéraire aura lieu au cimetière de Trenholm le samedi 18 novembre à 14 h.
Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la SPA de l’Estrie ou au Comité des Paniers de Noël de Richmond seraient grandement appréciés. https://spaestrie.qc.ca/

Linda’s face would lite up when we spoke of her children and grandchildren. She had so much love for her family. She will always be with you.

Linda was an amazing friend. A friend I will never forget but will miss forever.
She was a special kind of human.
She was my kind, patient, always ready to listen, would pick up any stray animal off the side of the road, free spirited, somewhat of a hippie kind of friend. She loved big and truly enjoyed life.
Her number one love in life was her family. They were all her pride and joys.
I was devastated to hear the news, as I am sure many were.
Because if you truly knew Linda, you loved her.

It was evident from the very first day we met Nova, Linda’s grandson, that she was tremendously loved. A VERY special woman whose family loved her as fiercely as she loved them.
We finally had the pleasure of meeting Linda a few months ago. She came outside with a rescued raccoon over her shoulder like it was no big deal
It was fabulous and awesome and not something we will ever forget. I will cherish and smile at that memory of her forever ️

I met Linda a few years ago when we worked together at Usinatech and she was such a friendly, upbeat person and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was so proud of her grandchildren and spoke of them often. Our sincere sympathies to her whole family.
