DREW, Larry

1944 - 2019

Passed away at the CHUS Fleurimont on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at the age of 74. Son of the late Wilbur Drew and late Evelyn Buzzell.

He leaves to mourn his son Jason (Nikki), sister Beverly (Clifford), brothers Lloyd (Patsy), Myles (Terry), sister-in-law Alice, many nieces and nephews and all those whose hearts he touched through the years. Predeceased by his sister Brenda (Jack) and brothers Lionel (Viola) and Roger.

As per his request, there will be no service, with a private burial at a later date.

A special thanks to the staff at Grace Village for the warm and compassionate care they provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Massawippi Retirement Community (Grace Village) Dr W. J. Klinck Foundation, 1515, rue Pleasant View, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 0C6, in his memory would be greatly appreciated by the family.

It was a very sad day when god took your hand and said its time to go now. It is a pleasure to be a part of your family.you were there to open your heart when Nikki joined your family,you treated her as your own daughter.you helped her thru the bad time when her dad was taken to soon.I thank you for your kindness,and loving our girl,and being a Great Loving Father to your son.You did a wonderful job with jay.I will always be there for them both as you were.I will miss you,but I am so happy that your free from pain,and sorrow.FLY HIGH MY FRIEND......

Jason, Nikki and family,

Dear Jason and Nikki, Your father was my friend, care I did give to him in Wing D at Grace Village but we talked, I learned about his life and he was always kind. He never wanted to bother or give anyone more work but he was so easy to work with. I will miss him! He was a good man! I know it was hard for him with his health issues. I always reminded him of so many things that were positive in his life and he acknowledged them. I know he is happy, safe and able to walk, run, stretch and feel good now and for that, I am happy too. But we will always miss our friends and Larry was mine. I wish you courage, strength and fortitude at this time. I will remember Larry Drew.
