I am so sorry to learn of Johnny's passing, my deepest condolences to you all.
CUNNINGHAM, John
1932 - 2018
Passed away at CHUS-Fleurimont in Sherbrooke QC in the early morning on May 17th 2018, which was his 86th birthday. Loving husband of Fran Picken for 59 years. He is sadly missed by his children: Wendy (Pierre), Doug (Elaine), Barry (Lorraine), and Jamie (Carolyn). Also left to mourn are his beloved grandchildren: Matt (Izabela), Sean; Ashley, Kristin; Brittany, Anthony, Brian; and Brandon, Megan and Connor.
John was predeceased by his sister June and is survived by his brother Glenn (Lou-Ann). Also mourning are his sisters-in-law Elsie, Bernice, and Beth (Ken) and brother-in-law Gery (Lois). John was also loved by other friends, family and relatives.
The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at CHUS- Fleurimont for their assistance and diligent care. Fran would also like to extend a special thank you to her sister Bernice for supporting her during this difficult time.
Visitation will take place at the Cass Funeral Home, 295 Principal St. S., Richmond, QC, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Interment at St-Anne’s Cemetery Richmond.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 100-2630, rue King West, Sherbrooke, QC J1J 2H1 would be greatly appreciated.
