Although I wasn't able to join you in Sherbrooke to celebrate the life and mourn the loss of Aunt Helen, my thoughts are with you all as you say goodbye today. Some of my fondest memories of visits to Sherbrooke are the times that Mom, Dad, Val and I spent with you at your family home on Caen Street. Your Mom and Dad always made Val and I feel so welcome - just one of the kids. We loved to help with the chores, to run around in the hills at the end of the street, to spread out on the living room floor and to have sleep overs while Mom and Dad visited with Nanny and Nampa. More recently, Aunt Helen and I bonded over the fact that we had the same birthday; even when I wasn't able to visit personally, we kept in touch by mail. I will miss those exchanges.

Cindy Nutbrown

My sympathies for our Aunt, I hope this is not in bad taste but I have been wondering about you and what you ended up doing in life. My name is Cindy Massicotte, we were friends in Grade school ( Mitchell) , your red haired friend , until we had a house fire and moved to Montreal.

For some reason you are in my thoughts and I just wanted to reach out.
