WALLACE (OUELLETTE), Therese Lina

2018

1924-2018

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Theresa Wallace of Stanstead, in her 94th year, at the CHU Sherbrooke, Quebec on February 4th, 2018.

She was predeceased by her parents Raymond and Aurore Ouellette, her sisters Gertrude Corriveau and Rita Ouellette, her loving husband Richard Reid Wallace, and her son-in-law Homer Harrison.

Loving mother to her four daughters, Sandra Harrison-Pare (Walter), Shirley McNeal (Hugh), Pearl Webb (Wesley), and Lena Edwards (Andrew). Cherished grandmother of Wayne, Theresa, Roxton, Hayley, Adam, Amanda, Alivia, Tyler, and Andria, and step-grandmother to Norah and Madeleine. Great grandmother to Madyson, Erik, Maximillian, Alexander, Kennedy, Aynsley, Carson, Zoe, Hayden, and Jack.

Theresa was born in Tomifobia, Quebec and resided her whole life in Stanstead, Quebec. Theresa worked at Spencer Supports before going to Butterfields. She was a social butterfly, as they say, who loved to dance. She was a member of the Centenary United Church, the UCW, the IODE, the Curling Club, as well as the Royal Canadian Legion Women's Auxiliary. She loved to travel and had lots of friends. Always smiling and friendly. She will forever be in our hearts and will be dearly missed.

Many thanks go out to her doctors and nurses at the Magog Hospital and the CHU Sherbrooke who took such great care of our mother.

The family is holding a memorial service at Crystal Lake Cemetery on May 12th, 2018 at 11:00AM. Lunch to be served following the service at Sandra's home, 733 Dufferin Road, Stanstead, Quebec.
