EVANS, Ronald W.

1932 - 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald Evans announce his peaceful passing at his home in Danville, on Monday March 14th 2022, with his loving family by his side.

Loving son of the late Nettie Wood and of the late John Evans. Beloved and devoted husband of 58 years to Dorothy Healy, and dear father of Heather (Patrick Fantin), Barry (Lisette Gallibois), Darlene (Tim Marsh), the late John, and of William (Billy) Evans. Proud grandpa of Nick (Ashley) and Katie Fantin, Shawn Langlois (Karine), Cassandra and Jeffrey Evans, Megan Marsh, and of Emily, Mary and Rosalie Evans. Ronald also leaves to mourn; his sisters-in-Law; Harriet (the late Ken Healy) and Kathleen (the late Michael Baker), brothers-in-law Donald Healy (Esther) and Robert Healy (the late Nancy) along with his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held in the Danville-Asbestos Trinity United Church, 43 rue Grove, Danville, on Friday March 18th from 7 to 9 PM and on Saturday from 1 to 3 PM, followed  by a celebration of Ronald’s life at 3 PM with Rev Reginald Jennings officiating. Interment in the Danville Protestant Cemetery will be held at a later date.

Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

The family would like to thank the staff of the CLSC Val des Sources for the amazing care and support they provided.
