It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Pauline Wilson, of Island Brook, on July 9th, 2022 at the age of 78 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her partner of 10 years, Terry Howell; her cherished children: Michael (Natalie), Karen (Dwayne), and Melanie (Robert); precious grandchildren: Courtney (Kevin), the late Brooke (Jeffrey), Brittany (Shane), Ashley (Nathan), Braedon, Taylor, and Jérome; sweet great grandbabies: Jack and Leila; dear friends, in-laws, and the Blouin family. She will also be sadly missed by her friends in the music community and various clubs and organizations to which she belonged.
She is predeceased by her parents Stanley Wilson and Eva (McKenna) Wilson.
Mom was born and grew up in Sherbrooke, Quebec where she attended school at Mount Notre Dame. After graduating, mom worked at the Ingersoll Rand until she found her niche at the Sherbrooke Hospital working in the Outdoor and later Business Administration. After retiring from the hospital, she worked part time at the Sawyerville Post Office. Mom thoroughly enjoyed her family, and our time spent together provided the greatest joy in her life. Many wonderful meals were lovingly prepared and happily consumed in her home. Second only to her family, mom adored her beloved “four-legged family”. A woman of diverse interests and talents, mom pursued several hobbies. An avid reader, nature lover, enthusiastic gardener, and producer of delicious plum sauce, jams, and pickles. She also enjoyed painting, coin collecting, bowling, and darts. Mom loved the music community, attending various musical jams and events. Her generous spirit led her to an active role in the local Red Cross. Mom was a warm, gentle woman, with a manner that endeared her to all who knew her. Her beautiful smile and welcoming nature made her a joy to be around.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday the 24th of July, 2022 at the Bury Cemetery at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m.

Was very sorry to hear of Pauline's passing.She and I bowled the same night and I spent many hours doing yardwork for her when she lived on Ellis road.She also used to ask me to help with the Red Cross.It is always difficult to lose an old friend.My sympathy to her family.
