GAULIN AUBRY, Patricia

Passed away on October 29, 2021 at the CHSLD East Angus at the age of 99. She was pre deceased in 1977 by her husband, Pete Aubry of 38 years. Deeply cherished by her children Herman and his wife Helen and children Jamie and Renata, pre deceased by their son Peter; Shirley and her husband Derek and children Glenn and Ryan, predeceased by her oldest son Nelson and is wife Verley but survived by their children Michele and Yvette; pre deceased by her daughter Debbie and survived by Debbie's son Jason. Patricia is survived by 8 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at the Bury Cemetery on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.

What an amazing woman she was . She survived the loss of so many in her family , yet managed to live to 99 years. She is at peace now . Sending a tribute to this very strong woman & sympathy to her family members .

My sympathies run just as deep as they did on the day she passed away Michele. My admiration for you however just keeps climbing. I'm glad that you will be able to finally lay her to rest.
I love you, and do not think that because you are tough as nails I don't get a hug next time I see you :)

(Went for tough as nails as opposed to "You old Battleaxe youuuuu" I'm pretty sure it was Cindy was the battle axe.)

I'm glad Patricia was who she was, making you who you are.
So...Thank you for being you cuz I wouldn't be me if you weren't.

À ses enfants et et descendants en témognage à ma tante Patricia Gaulin-Aubry

Je suis passé un jour dans la vie de Patricia!
Je me présente, Denis Gaulin, enfants de son frère Roméo,Cyprien Gaulin, né en mai 1916, donc l'ainée de la famille Roy-Gaulin. J'ai appris l'existante de Patricia en mai 1990 lors du décès de mon père. Dans son testament,il exprimait le souhait d'informer sa soeur, Patricia demeurant à Cookshire, Qc qu'il était décédé...
Dans notre famille nous n'avions jamais entendu parler que mon père, ( ma mère n'en a jamais dit un seul mot) ...avait une soeur... et un frère Rolland jusqu'au jour où je suis devenu exécuteur testamentaire... toute une surprise pour moi, à 47ans.
J'ai compris que mon père ne souhaitait pas que sa famille sache qu'il y avait une personne dans son entourage , sa famille qui souffrait de schizophénie...
Mon père était un homme bon mais très renfermé et secret cependant il avait un caractère similaire à sa soeur Patricia.
Donc, J'ai connu Patricia parce que je l'ai appelé pour l'informer et l'inviter à venir pour inhumer son frère si elle le désirait et visiter la tombe de ses parents. Comme elle n'avait pas de transport, moi et mon épouse sommes allés à Cookshire au mois de mai 1990, la chercher et l'amener à Kingsay Falls au cimetière
où est enterré leurs mère et père ; Alfred Gaulin et Georgiana Roy et l'avons ramené à son domicile. Nous sommes aussi passé visiter son frère Rolland au CHSLD . Et à ce moment j'ai appris la maladie Rolland en discutant avec les Infirmières, et préposés. ..
C'est une triste histoire de ma famille. Mais je ne garde aucun remord, juste une tristesse profonde... Pour avoir connu Patricia durant une journée j'en garde un très excellent souvenir de cette personne très chaleureuse qui a eu une vie remplie de difficultés, de préoccupations et de joie... avec sa famille. Je me console en me disant que c'était la coutume du temps et de la société.
Je termine en vous souhaitant encore une fois mes plus sincères condoléances...
