Buzzell, Nobel Arthur

BUZZELL, Nobel Arthur

1935 - 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing away of Nobel Arthur Buzzel peacefully at his home with his family on February 27, 2021, in his 86th year.

He was the loving husband of Edna Brown for 65 years. Great father to Dale (Lisa), Douglas (Elaine), Catherine (Denis), Patricia (James), Judy (Allen), Barbara (Réjean) and Steven (Trudy). He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, and cousins.

After a fall in October, he spent 3 months in the hospital to regain his strength after his hip replacement. Due to a nerve disease, he was still unable to do his own tasks but wished to return home with his wife and family. He had help from the CLSC Palliative Care unit and homecare. We wish to thank the 2nd-floor geriatric team at the Argyle hospital. The Doctors and nurses were wonderful and, Dad had his special Erika who was mentioned to us at each visit. Special thanks to Emilie for helping set up things with our CLSC team in Stanstead, Josée Perreault and Karina L’orange who went above and beyond her work ethics to make our father comfortable for his stay at home. To Maryse who came in the mornings to help with his daily baths, her kind words and smiles made his day a little brighter.

Last but surely not forgotten, the team of nurses, especially Lise Perron who was so kind and gentle each and every visit.

Doctor Geneviève Gagné for her home care visits, you are always going to be in our hearts and prayers for all you did.

We would also like to thank all those who brought in food and words of kindness.

Special thanks to Elaine for all her home-cooked meals.

He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

Now he is in heaven dancing with the Angels.

Mrs Buzzell , And family

We were very sorry to hear about Nobel’s death. He was a good neighbor. Doria talks about him often telling about the cab for Nobel’s tractor they built together. Good memories of him. Our deepest sympathy to all of his family.
