LAVALLÉE VALLIÈRES, Marie-Hélène

Following a courageous fight against cancer, Mary left us for a better place on January 20, 2023, at the CHUS-Fleurimont Hospital, at the age of 78.

Family and friends will gather at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead, Qc, J0B 3E0, on Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Ste-Trinité Church, 645 Dufferin, Stanstead.

Marie was the daughter of the late Roland Lavallée and the late Lucille Martin from Stanstead. She is survived by her husband Yvan Vallières, her children: Alain (Cindy) and Lynn Vallières, her grandchildren: John-Alain, Nikolas, Mikalle, Melodee, Carly, Alycia, Monica, Bree-Ann, Brittany, her great-grandchildren : Bentley Silvestro, Vanessa Horne, Isabel Storie, Laylah Disotell, Luna Turner, as well as her sister Céline and brothers Daniel and Normand Lavallée.

She also leaves her in-laws from the Vallières family: Georgette, Bertrand, Solange, Daniel and Marc and their spouses, as well as many cousins, other relatives, and friends, especially her great friend Suzanne Fournel.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff from the CLSC in Sherbrooke as well as those from the 7th and 6th floors of the CIUSSS Fleurimont for the good care provided to Marie.

As a memorial tribute, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 330 Rue King O, Sherbrooke, QC, J1L 1C9, or to an organization of your choice.

Toute la famille de Marie
