TRUAX LLOYD, Margaret

1929 - 2021

Margaret passed away at the CHUS Hôtel-Dieu in Sherbrooke on February 1st, 2021 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband John Lloyd and her sister Eve. She leaves to mourn her daughters Joyce (Raymond), Linda, Shirley (Robert), Barbara (Grant), and her grandchildren; Tanya, Tina, Jody, Chris, Cyndi, and Whitney. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Margaret was a huge fan of country music and loved to dance. She could often be seen wherever her favourite local artist Sidney Aulis was performing. She loved country living and attended the local agricultural fairs every year. Walking, visiting with friends, and caring for her cats were her favorite pastimes.

In Margaret’s honour, we ask that you spend quality time with a loved one, or do something special for a senior.

A private burial will take place at a later date at the Bury Protestant Cemetery.

Sending you my deepest sympathy. Margaret holds a very special place in our hearts.My Mother’s family (Haskell/Robidas ) lived across from the Lloyd farm and we have very fond memories of everyone. Margaret was a very special woman, VERY strong , loved to sing and dance, and had a wonderful sense of humour.

Last Fall my Mother, Shirley Robidas and I had the chance to go visit Margaret. We reminisced with memories of song, dance with my Mother’s sisters and brother , haying, family, friends... She was so thankful for her supportive family & granddaughter Jody. My Mother was so happy to see her.

May the fond memories of your Mother/Grandmother fill your heart Jody and bring you comfort. My Mother, Aunts and Uncles, and her family are singing and dancing with her once again. They are all watching over us now. Rest in peace Margaret!
