BROWN, Jennifer Louise

2017

1946 – 2017

Jennifer Louise Brown passed away peacefully on October 14th, 2017 in Magog at the age of 71 years.  She was a loving companion to the late Irvin Cosgrove and a dear daughter to the late Verian McCoy and the late Norman Brown.  Jenny was a fierce fighter, a positive life-loving woman who touched and enriched the lives of countless people.  She was a creative and generous soul with a quirky sense of humour, who always seemed to know someone no matter where she went.

She will be profoundly missed by her loving daughter Robyn (Jarrod Tetreault); her cherished grandchildren Hannah and Grace; her stepchildren: Kelley (Rick), Tracy (Francis), Erin and Tara (Kevin); her brother Winston (Rosemarie Brown); her sisters Dianne (Eric White) and Faye (Roger Bronson).  She also leaves many nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends, and her beloved Café.

Visitation will occur at the Cass funeral Home, 900, Clough St, Ayer’s Cliff, QC, on Saturday October 21st, 2017 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.  A celebration of life will follow with Rev. Barb Wintle officiating.

The family wishes to give special thanks and express their gratitude to the caregivers of the Résidence Plein D’Amour:  Suzanne Cyr, Richard Riendeau and Marie-Hélène Guillemette, as well as to Diane Cyr at La Maison sous les arbres, for the excellent care given to Jennifer.  The family also wishes to thank the excellent staff at the CHUS Fleurimont and the CSSS Memphrémagog who always went above and beyond, and to the many friends who accompanied her during her 10 year battle with cancer.

In lieu of flowers and as a memorial Tribute to Jenny, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 5151, boul. de l’Assomption, Montréal, Québec, H1T 4A9, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
