BOUTIN, Jean-Claude (J.-C.)

We sadly announce the passing of Mr. Jean-Claude Boutin at the Magog Hospital on October 20, 2022, at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Joseph Boutin and the late Blanche Gosselin, residing in Ayer's Cliff.

Visitation will take place at the Cass Funeral Home, 900 Clough Street, Ayer's Cliff, QC, on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 9 to 11 a.m. A celebration of life will follow.

Jean-Claude leaves to mourn his sons Roger (Doris Laurin) and Marc; his grandson Philippe-Olivier; his brothers Denis and Daniel (Madeleine Gauthier) and his sister Florence (Gérard Delafontaine). Also, in mourning his dear friend Rose-Marie Gaulin and her family as well as the mother of his children Patricia Royer.

The family would like to thank Dr. Patricia Landry, the staff of Résidence Ste-Marguerite and the palliative care staff of the Magog Hospital for the wonderful and dedicated care provided to Jean-Claude.

Donations to the Memphremagog Hospital Foundation, 50, rue St-Patrice Est, Magog, QC, J1X 3X3, would be appreciated by the family.
