SCOTT, Glenn William

1929 - 2023

The family sadly announces the passing of Glenn on February 23, 2023 at the CHUS Fleurimont in his 94th year.  Glenn was born in Leed’s Village to the late Howard Scott and Mary Ann (Annie) Davidson. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years, Marie Cox (March 2022) and his brother Ronald (Helen).

He will be sadly missed by his children, Douglas and Faye (Peter) and his cherished grandchildren, Kevin (Emma) and Alyssa (Scott) as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to especially thank Lawrence Cox for his friendship and kindness towards dad through their shared interest of everything “Downhome”.

Visitation will take place at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 1 pm – 2 pm, followed by the funeral service. Interment will take place at the Greenwood cemetery in Waterville at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Douglas and Faye

We wish to send our condolences of the passing of your father. My father and your father were great friends through out the years, visiting each other. I remember my dad saying 'going down to Glen's place for a visit' when I was visiting my parents.

The family of Glenn Scott

My sympathy to Glenn's family.
May your memories comfort you.
I remember Glenn from when we went to school in Leed's Village.
He was a kind neighbour and friend.
