YOUNG EVANS, Edna Edith

Edna passed away unexpectedly at her home in the early hours of January 30, 2022, in the presence of her loving husband of 58 years.  She leaves behind, her husband Robert (Bob), two sons, Brian (Debbie), Gordon (Caroline Aubin), her daughter Linda (Peter Conway), sisters-in-law Ruth (Peter MacFarlane), Norma (late John Knight).  She is predeceased by her parents, Leonard Young and Laura Keet Young and her parents in-law, Norman Evans and Frances Taylor Evans, brothers-in-law, Arthur Evan (Jean) and Eric Evans.  She will be missed by her 5 grandchildren, Anthony, Justine, Emilie (Evans), Alyssa and Rachel (Conway) and many cousins on the Keet side of the family.  

Edna was a supply teacher for many years at Alexander Galt Regional High school, but her passion was gardening, cooking and baking!  She was also a hard working member of the United Church Women (UCW).  

Donations in Edna's name would be gratefully accepted by the Lennoxville United Church.  A memorial service and interment will be held at a later date.
