1954 – 2017

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ben Brus at the CIUSSS Magog, on June 12, 2017 at the age of 62, son of the late William Brus and Bernardina Brus.

Ben leaves to mourn his brothers and sisters: Thea (Paul Hulshof), Henriette (Alain Lafaille), Margaret (Dale Hartley), Mary (Jacques Cloutier), Andre (Christiane Roux), John (Sylvie Boucher) and Willy (Shelley Hatch).  He also leaves many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

A private service will be held to commemorate Ben’s life.  As a tribute to his memory, donations to the Dixville home Foundation, 34, rue Queen, Sherbrooke, QC, J1M 1H9, would greatly be appreciated.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Palliative care unit at the Magog Hospital, all the care givers at Dixville Home, but most of all to the staff and friends of the Steven’s House in Stanstead who have given Ben love and a place he could call home.
