Jackson, William W.

JACKSON, William W.

1932 - 2022

On March 23, 2022 after an arduous 2 years of dealing with C19 isolation and restrictions, Bill lost his will to continue on.

Predeceased by first wife, Joyce (Grantham) Jackson (mother to all children), 2nd wife, Julie (Carrier) Jackson and granddaughter Katharine Joseph.

Bill was a loving and proud father to Patricia, Pamela (Robert) and Kimberly (Vernon).  Often offering advice always starting with "You know what you gotta do".  That statement is used by all the generations who spent time with him and always with a smile.

He loved being a grandfather and great grandfather to Tamara (Donevan, Nathaniel & William), Valerie ((Randall) Avery & Emily) Kevin and Jason.

He also leaves behind his brother Robert A. Jackson (Carol) as well as many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, will also miss him

Dad was a special, one of a kind man.  He touched many hearts over his 89 years.   He was a man that loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Over the last 50+ years, Bill was a dedicated member of multiple masonic lodges, holding various positions within the organization.  He was a recipient of the "Life Time Achievement Award" and "Jewel of Merit".  Awards he displayed and spoke of proudly.  He was very close to many of his masonic brethren.

Most will remember Bill as a man who loved to hold court, often sharing his smile, quick wit and wisdom.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Service, internment and light lunch will be held on June 18 at 11 a.m. in the town that held his heart for many years.

Bill's Family

We at Thetford Lodge were very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a friend to many in our lodge and someone we could always turn to for advice and assistance with all things masonic. We will miss his counsel and sense of humour.
"Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again" Rest in peace , brother

The Family of William Jackson

The brethren of Golden Rule Lodge No. 5, wish to convey our most sincere condolences to the family of William (Bill) Jackson.

Bill was a highly valued member of our Lodge. There was never a greater ritualist than he.

He will be sorely missed, but fondly remembered.

Farewell my Brother.
