MORIN, Robert Vincent
1936 - 2023
Le 18 août 2023, M. Vincent Morin est décédé à l’âge de 87 ans à l’hôpital de l’Hôtel Dieu d’Arthabaska (Victoriaville).
Il était un mari, un père, un grand-père et un arrière-grand-père merveilleux et attentionné. Il aimait taquiner ses amis et sa famille ; il avait toujours un sourire et un mot gentil pour tous ceux qu'il rencontrait. L'un de ses plus grands plaisirs était de recevoir et d'être entouré de sa famille et de ses amis. Il aimait travailler le bois, créer des meubles et des souvenirs avec ses petits-enfants.
Vincent laisse dans le deuil son épouse dévouée depuis 63 ans, Carole Batt, ses enfants bien-aimés Trenholm (Wanda), Scott (Sylvie), Karen (Robert). Ses petits-enfants Sarah (Kurt), William (Kristen), Robyn (Julien), Kurtis, Madison et Devin. Ses arrière-petits-enfants Kaylee et bébé Roberts.
Il laisse également dans le deuil ses belles-sœurs Sylvia (feu Wilfred), Dorothy (feu Jérôme) et Norma (feu Paul), ainsi que de nombreux neveux et nièces.
Pour recevoir les condoléances, la famille sera présente à l'église Sainte-Bibiane de Richmond le lundi 4 septembre 2023 de 11 h à 12 h 30 suivi du service. Un léger repas aura lieu au terrain d’exposition agricole de Richmond (pavillon des femmes) après le service.
Au lieu de fleurs, des dons peuvent être faits à l'Association de la maladie coeliaque, à la Société du cancer ou à la Fondation l'hôpital HDA, ou à l'organisme de bienfaisance de votre choix.
Un merci spécial au personnel infirmier du 8e étage de l'Hôtel Dieu d'Arthabaska pour les excellents soins progigués à Vincent.

The obituary, itself, says so much about Vincent. He was truly a good and kind person and I never heard him say a bad word about anyone.

I was one of the many fortunate schoolkids to be bussed to school and/or home for several years by the kind and hard-working Mr. Morin (back in the 1970s). I can still picture his cheerful smile.
