Janne's Family

Today I lot my Best Friend. To her parents, Thank you for raising such a kind, caring funny beautiful daughter who had such a zest for life. She was the first person in her apartment complex to check on sick neighbors or to do anything she could to help out. She loved nature, especially the St. Lawrence River and the ships and other water vessels that plied id. She put her natural talents as a photographer to use by opening her Facebook group a little over 5 years ag. There wasn't anything on the river that Jo couldn't find out about in the snap of a finger and people trusted her knowledge as the number of members attests. To her Children; she beamed when she spoke of you. She was so proud of what you have done with your lives. She looked forward to family gatherings and having the time to spend with you. To her grandsons, you fellows were number 1. She got so excited when you came for sleepovers. She would go out and get your favorite food and treats. She always said that you were perfect little gentlemen and there are none others smarter than you. She enjoyed the time you all spent indoors as much as she di out and never let an opportunity pass to get photos of you at the dock, Pirates cove or in Riverwalk Park. To her siblings, she always said you may have had your disagreements but her motto was family first. She loved you all very much. She was a true friend and would not stand for dishonesty. She was loyal and would bend over backward to help in any way she could. She was my heart and soul. I will never have another friend like her. We could tell each other anything. There are things we told each other that we never told anyone else, I am going to miss filling her Christmas stocking. I don't know if it was more fun hunting for unique items to put in it or the fun we had as she discovered each item she pulled out of her sock. It was Jo that got me started on my stocking rule. The first year she handed me back her sock and I told her she could keep it and she told me she had to give it back to be sure it was filled again next Christmas. There were very few days that we didn't.t talk. Even when she was away the first thing she did each morning was grab a coffee and message me. It is so hard knowing we won't have any more of these mornings but this is not goodbye, My Dear Jo, this is until we meet again. Say Hi to Doug for me. Love you more
