Dora's family
It is with great sadness that I read of Dora's passing. A good neighbourhood friend in times gone by.
MCCOURT (NÉE PERKINS), Dora
1928 - 2023
Dora (Perkins) McCourt passed away peacefully at the Wales Home, on August 20th, 2023 at the age of 95. Dora was the daughter of the late Donald Perkins and the late Gladys Farquhar.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Clayton McCourt, her cherished son Brian McCourt as well as her brother Stephen (late Eileen) Perkins, her sisters Olive (late Melvin) McCourt and Winnie (late Bill) Paterson; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law : Clifford (late Jeanne) McCourt, Russell (Barbara) McCourt, Elston (Henriette) McCourt and Marc (Joyce) Marceau.
She will be deeply missed by her daughters Brenda (Dennis) Dubois and Donna (Gordon) Doyle. Loving Nanny to Jason, Corey and Emily Dubois, Justin (Jessie Crook) McCourt, Clayton McCourt and Chelsea Doyle. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Résidence funéraire Windsor, 310 rue St-Georges, on Saturday, August 26 as of 11 a.m. A Funeral Service, Reverend Reginald Jennings officiating, will be held at the chapel of the Funeral Home, at 1 p.m. followed by the burial at the Windsor Protestant Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the loving staff of the Wales Home-Norton 3, with special mention to Rhoda, Joey, Jordan, Julie, Sarah, Melissa, Rizza, Cynthia, Joanne, Howard and Maryann and to a dear friend Penny Pariseau for her countless visits and companionship.
Dora touched the lives of so many, always with a smile, a word or encouragement or a joke, she will be lovingly remembered and truly missed by all.
