Kirkpatrick Bennett , Beryl

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beryl Bennett at the age of 90 on November 14, 2017 at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital.
Beloved daughter of the late Archibald and Winnifred (Lebourveau) Kirkpatrick and the wife of the late Theron Morris Bennett. She was very much loved by her children Malcom (Cindy), Linda, Margaret Ann and the late Morris Bennett. She also leaves to mourn her aunt Sara Bewick of Lennoxville and her sister-in-law Helen Kirkpatrick of Durham, On., her grandchildren: Kevin, Jennifer (Daniel), Justin (Anik), Karen (Stuart), Louise (Miguel), Kristin (Shawn) and Joey and 8 great-grandchildren. She leaves many wonderful relatives and friends.
At Beryl's request there was no funeral or visitation. She was cremated and a private family burial was held on November 25, 2017 at the Grace United Cemetery, Brookbury, Quebec.
A special thank you to the CLSC, the staff of the 7th and 8th floor CHUS Fleurimont hospital and the staff of Les Résidences du Haut-Saint-François in East Angus, Quebec.

Keeler , David


It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of David Robert Keeler on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the age of 71.
Predeceased by his wife Faye McCoy. David leaves to mourn his two daughters Rebecca (Jonathan Murray) and Kimberley, his 2 grandchildren Simon and Emma and also his sister Janet. He also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  
A funeral service will be held at the Trinity United Church in Danville on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Followed by the interment at the Danville Protestant Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Les Résidence Moffet for the wonderful care given to David.
In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family

Kendall, Clarence Duncan


Clarence Kendall, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2016 at the Wales home in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Honey) Stewart, father of Janna, Doug (Suzan), and grandfather of Jamie and Andrew.

Clarence was a graduate of Lennoxville High School and Bishop’s University. Grandpa was truly larger than life. He was an amazing father and grandfather. Clarence as a teacher, a principal and a Director General of the Eastern Township of Quebec School Board was respected by generations of folks and touched so many lives. Clarence was involved in the founding of Fulford Academy, and was a founding investor. He loved the outdoors, the waters of Lake Massawippi and countless hobbies.
 Visitation will be at the Lennoxville United Church, 6 Church, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Saturday, November 26, 2016, from 12 pm to 2 pm.  A celebration of life will be follow the visitation at 2 pm. Following the service, a lunch will be held in the church reception hall.
Doug, Suzan, Jamie, Andrew and Janna want to express their deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support shown to them during this time – a true testament to how much Clarence was respected and loved in his community.

They would also like to thank all of the wonderful caregivers at the Wales Home who took such good care of Grandpa.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Alexander Galt Regional High School or the to the Alzheimer's Society, 740 Galt Ouest, Suite 112, Sherbrooke, QC, J1H 1Z3.

Kerr, Kevin (Moose)


Suddenly, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the age of 54. Son of the late William (Bill) Kerr and the late Theresa Mockle.

Kevin leaves his children Nathalie, Patricia, Bridgette and Ryan; his step-children Melissa and Jessie; his step-grandchildren Kelly, Koby and Cameron; his sisters Carole (Carl) and Nancy (Dwight); the mother of his children Joyce Phaneuf; his many nieces and nephews; his friends Annette Vallée and Tim Brown; as well as many other friends. Predeceased by brother Michael and sister Frances.  

Visitation will take place at Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College, Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Friday, November 11, 2016 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the St-Camille Church, 190 Principale Sud, Cookshire, QC. Interment in the St-Camille Cemetery, Cookshire, QC.

Kane (nee Frank), Margaret

Marg slipped away peacefully on September 8, 2016 in her 94th year.

She was the daughter of William Frank and Ethel Pennington.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bob, her sister Ellen and her twin sister Jean. She will be greatly missed by her niece Susan, her nephew Jim, her great nieces and nephews, and her great great nephew.

Special thanks to the Wales Home in Richmond where she lived happily for the last years of her life.

King Beattie, Elsie

Passed away after a long and full life on Friday, April 10 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Curtis Beattie, dear mother of Douglas (Gladys) and Susan (Fred), cherished grandmother of Nancy (Greg), Heather (Ghyslain), Douglas and Catherine, adored great-grandmother of Alex, Patrick, Sarah, William, Everett and Ada and dear friend to many. Bor n in Alber t Mines, she enjoyed her long life within a close community in the rolling hills of the Eastern Townships. Resting at Cass Funeral Parlour in Lennoxville (3006 College St., Shebrooke), visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and Thursday, April 16 from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Richard Strout officiating. Interment will be at the Reedsville Cemeter y in North Hatley at a later date. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Grace Christian Home for their kind and loving care of Elsie in her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the The Dr. W. J. Klinck Foundation (1501 Campbell St., Sherbrooke, QC J1M 0C1) would be appreciated.

Peacefully at the Connaught Home, North Hatley, on Monday, February 9, 2015. Priscilla Nan Kezar beloved wife of the late Earl Davis. She is survived by her sister Joyce Parker (Alden), cousin Geraldine Swallow (Len), and her niece Cheryl King (David) and also dear friend Bruce Allanson. Resting at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville), on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 1 to 2 pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Mead Baldwin officiating. Burial will take place in the spring at the Reedsville Cemetery. As memorial tributes, donations to the Dr. W. J. Kasowski, Walter

 After a long, courageous battle with cancer, Dr.Walter John Kasowski passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the hospital in Magog, Quebec, at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband of Margaret Ann Hobart Kasowski. Loving father of Bart Kasowski (Francine Debieu), Rosalie Wilson (Mike Wilson) Victor Kasowski (Kitman Lo) and Peter Kasowski (Devon Little). Cherished grandfather of Maximilien, Celeste and Phaedra Kasowski. Dear brother of Frances Myers, and brother-law of Ronald Fortier. Predeceased by his infant son Matthew Kasowski, sisters Vera Kasowski, Helen Fortier, and brother-in-law Ralph Myers. He also leaves many well-loved nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. There will be visitation in the presence of his ashes at the Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead on Friday,April 11, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Ste. Thérèse de l’Enfant-Jésus Parish Church, 98 Principale, Stanstead (Beebe) on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:30 am with a reception to follow. Interment to be held this summer in Ottawa, Ontario. Keough, Harold

Passed away at the Wales Home on January 21, 2014, at the age of 76. Harold George Keough, dear husband of Jean Mastine. Also left to mourn are his children Peter (Andrea) of Calgary, Beverley (Glenn Cunningham) and Karen (Mike Jones) of Georgetown; his grandchildren; his brother Bob (Diane) and sisters-in law Blanche (late Nelson Mastine) and Klea (late Howard Mastine); and other relatives and friends. Harold was the son of the late George Frederick Keough and the late Annie Muriel Goodland of Quebec City. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 29, at 1 p.m., at Maplewood Cemetery, St. Félix de Kingsey, Quebec. Keeler, Alfred

Passed away peacefully at the CHUS Fleurimont on Monday November 4, 2013, after a short illness. Predeceased by his wife Beulah. Survived by his children Dyanne ( the late Dale), and Nick (Gail). Dear grandfather of : Steve (Janis), Scott ( Nancy), Sherri (Bill) and Tim (Tanya); Alfred will also be sadly missed by his great-grandchildren : Danielle, Sarah, Josh, Cole, Kassie, Billy, Sam. Noah, Mackenzie, and Julia along with his great-granddaughter Adele, brother Winston (Beryl), nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Beulah United Church in Ayer’s Cliff on Saturday, November 9, at 2:00 p.m. :
