Nelson, Nils

Suddenly at the CHUS Fleurimont Hospital, Sherbrooke, QC, on Sunday, March 25th 2007, at the age of 87. Nils Archie Nelson, son of the late Nils John Nelson and the late Mathilda Magnusson, dearly loved and devoted husband of Isabel Thwaites and loving father of Lorne of Lennoxville, QC and Lynn (Keith Young) of Pointe Claire, QC. Cherished grandfather of Julie and Jenny Young. Archie also leaves to mourn many wonderful nieces, nephews and many friends. Accidentally at his home Sherbrooke , Qc,on Thursday, February 15th 2007 at the age of 33. At the Hotel-Dieu Hospital, Sherbrooke, QC on Saturday, December 23rd 2006 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth MacDonald. Cherished aunt of Bernice Laurila and Lois MacDonald. Great aunt to Joyce Rankin (Paul Lorticht), Gail (Dale Farrell), Vernon Nicholson, Kerry (Carl Rogala) and Norman Laurila. Also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In respect of her wishes, cremation was held. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Freeda Olive Nutbrown, beloved wife of the late Eugene Raymond and dear mother of Linda ( Warren Deacon ), Lyle ( Nancy Jones ), Leah ( Richard Roy ), Leona ( Roger Andrus ), Lindsay ( Karen Ideker ) and Lonnie ( Sarah Bailey ); dear sister of Edna ( late Ernest Smith ), Harold ( Florence ) and the late Alton. Freeda also leaves to mourn her grandchildren, Scott, Ron, Rebecca, Kimberley, Edward and Brandon also many other relatives and friends. Passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, September 16th 2006. Weston E. Nutbrown in his 86th year. Only son of the late James Earl Nutbrown and the late Florrie E. Wilson. Passed away accidently in Montreal QC, on July 14th 2006 at the age of 47 years. Born on March 26th 1959, Eric " Ricky " William Nobes Jr,father of Anne-Sophie Rivest-Nobes, brother of Gordon ( Kimberly ), Cinthia ( Robert Street ) and Dean, uncle of Ashley and Jacob Nobes and James Street. A family graveside service and commital of ashes will be held in Malvern Cemetery, Moulton Hill, Sherbrooke ( formerly Lennoxville ), on Sunday, July 30th 2006 at 4:00 p.m. Eric was a past or present member of: the Montreal tall men's club, the Montreal Legion Br. # 234, the Victory Lodge # 94, the Canadian forces Montreal sailing club and the St-Andrew's Society of Montreal. Peacefully at CSSS Memphremagog, after a valiant battle, he was carried to heaven in the arms of an angel. Saturday, November 26th 2005, at the age of 55. Loving son of Ronald and the late Mildred. DREW, Florina Peacefully at the Grace Christian Home on Wednesday, September 7th 2005, surrounded by her family at the age of 84 years, passed away Florina Beatrice Nicholson, beloved wife of the late Stanley Drew and loving mother of Ronald (Cynthia), Marilyn (Kirke Wells), Malcolm (Denise) and Robert (Nicole). Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and of 15 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Edna (late George Soutiere), Leona (Leslie Cook), Doris (Ellie Cunnington), Alice (Harvey Malcolm), Marion (Gilles Desmarais), Ernest (Marilyn Gilmartin) and Shirley (late Roger Desruisseaux). She was predeceased by her sister Ida (late Garnet Howes). Nelson, William ( Bill ) Robert Passed away peacefully with his loving wife and family by his side, at the CHUS Fleurimont on Thursday, June 23rd , 2005, Bill Nelson at the age of 75. Beloved husband of 50 years, short one month, to Shirley Hebert and cherished father of Trenholm ( Pauline Antink ), Douglas ( Francine Béliveau ) and Judy ( Michael Morin ), " Papa " will be very sadly missed by eight grandchildren; Lee Ann, Tiffany, Kira, Adam, David and Sarah Nelson, and Katelyn and Jacob Morin. Son of the late Edwin and Kathleen Nelson. Bill also leaves to mourn his brother Kenny ( the late Patricia ), his brother-in-law Bobby ( Myrna ), sister's-in-law Gail ( Peter ) and the late Velma ( Howard ) along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
