Lee Labrecque

Book of Memories

So sorry for your loss. Uncle Lee was truly one of the great ones. He never said a bad word about anyone and would do anything for anybody. Last time I saw him he taught me how to drive his Model A Ford. He will be truly missed by all who’s lives he touched.

I met Lee and Helen several yeas ago at Labrecque reunion in Rock Forest. We lost track of each other until my Mom IED in 2007. Helen helped me sell my Mom's house and Lee helped with whatever I needed done. They are booth wonderful people. Lee was a kind gentle soul. Always with a smile and a kind word. My husband and I have spent many hours with Helen and Lee in their home, out for dinner, and on Lake Massiwippi. We will miss him a lot but hope to continue to spend time with Helen, ...

We are saddened to hear of Lee's passing. We were hoping to get out to dinner with you both in April when we visited Lennoxville. We are going to miss this gentle friend. I always enjoyed sharing our family history pastime with Lee and will be dearly missed in the Genealogy community. He has contributed greatly with his research and book publications related to Labrecque history

Lee was one of the calmest, caring and gentlest men I have known. Glad to have been a part of his life. Sincere condolences to his wonderful family. Miss you all.

It was a privilege to have had the opportunity to become acquainted with both Lee and Helen through my dear friend Laurie, with whom I was staying during the months of June and July 2016. Lee and Helen came to visit Laurie for the long weekend when I was having my birthday. Having just come back from a military posting overseas, and having no family in Ottawa, I was particularly touched by the kindness the family showed me by treating me to a lovely dinner to celebrate. Although, we were ...
acquainted only a short time, it was clear that Lee was warm and welcoming. I know that Laurie will sorely miss her Father and their close bond. My deepest condolences go to Helen for her sudden loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family during this difficult time.
